Ernie was born and raised in Austin, Texas and is a Marine Corps veteran. Over the course of Ernie’s career, he has started a number of small businesses, worked with the federal government and ran for U.S. Congress in Texas. Ernie believes in public service, and that as a community anything can be accomplished.
Ernie left active duty in the U.S. Marines in January 2006, and started a small business in Austin, TX. His business quickly grew and expanded into Nevada and Utah. His successful business and community involvement was recognized with numerous community and business awards. In early 2008, Ernie made the decision to return to public service at the U.S. Department of Treasury in Washington, DC.
In early 2012, Ernie founded SemperGROW to offer leadership development programs, coaching and a variety of management consulting services around the globe. Ernie spends much of his time working with executives and leaders through his extensive and unique executive coaching program and is frequently on the road sharing his lessons, thoughts and ideas with audiences across the country. He has a passion for service, and strives to help others around him reach their ultimate goals and dreams.
Ernie and his wife Debbie founded Little Land Play Gym, in Austin, Texas in early 2015. Little Land is a one-of-a-kind indoor play place for kids of all abilities that is now available as a franchise opportunity across the country. Ernie is the President and CEO of the Little Land Play Gym franchise system.
When Ernie isn’t starting businesses, coaching business leaders, helping others open their own Little Land Play Gym, or on the road speaking at events and working with clients, he spends his time with friends and family. Ernie, his wife Debbie and their daughters Emersyn and Lucia reside in Austin, Texas.
